Our appointments
At Orchardtown Road, our appointments are only available by prior booking. Our appointments are routinely 20mins long.
We try hard to adhere to appointment times as we realise your time is valuable. Occasionally due to factors out of our control our doctors will run behind schedule. Please feel free to phone the surgery as close as possible to your booked appointment time to check for unexpected waiting periods.
APPOINTMENT STRUCTURE
Level A (brief consultations)
Level B (appointments less than 20mins)
Level C (appointment 20-40mins)
Level D (appointments over 40mins)
Other specialised appointments are available for health plans such as GP management plans and mental health plans. Please enquire with the secretaries if you think you will require these.
BILLING
Full payment is required at the time of your consultation. Whenever possible we ask that worker's compensation fees are settled by the patient at the time of consultation and claimed back directly from their insurers or employers. Reduced fees are available on presentation of current concession cards. Fees are time based in accordance with HIC legislation.
If you are unable to attend a booked appointment please contact the surgery with as much notice as possible. A non-cancellation fee of $40 will otherwise apply.
